Here’s the answer!
There are five sisters in a room clearly states that there are a total of 5 sisters present in the room.
The second statement says All five of them are busy. So in this sentence, we know all the five sisters are busy.
As per the third statement, Ann is reading, Rose is cooking, Lorraine is playing chess and Mary is doing laundry. So now we know what the 4 sisters are doing and we have to find What is the fifth sister doing.
As you can see that it is mentioned that Lorraine is playing chess and we all know that Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a checkered board. So we can assume that the fifth sister is playing chess with Lorraine.
Therefore, The fifth sister is playing chess is the answer.
